Salmon Pink Blackout Roller Blind – General Features

Blackout roller blinds are made using special fabrics with zero light permeability. They are used in rooms with excessive sunlight, meeting and conference rooms, hotel rooms, and also bedrooms. These blinds are ideal for workplaces where presentations are made using projectors, providing complete darkness. Also referred to as blackout roller blinds, they can be used partially closed in areas with extreme sunlight if desired. They are a popular solution for meeting and conference rooms, as well as bedrooms and hotel rooms. Another application method is combining them with sunscreens, allowing light to be filtered or fully blocked when needed. Their practicality and elegant appearance make them highly preferred in hotel rooms.

Choosing the Color for Your Blackout Roller Blind

Cream and beige tones are neutral colors that generally match all other colors and shades. If the space has permanent elements such as brick, wood, or similar textures, the best combination can be achieved with cream tones. Cream shades provide a chic and relaxing effect to interiors. Using cream tones also creates a versatile base for future decor changes, allowing you to create new combinations with small accessories.

Chain-Operated Roller Blind Components

Roller blinds can be manufactured as chain-operated, spring-loaded, semi-automatic, or motorized according to preference. Chain-operated blinds generally wrap the fabric around a 32mm aluminum tube. The blind head assemblies are mounted on both sides of the aluminum tube. Turning the chain rolls the fabric onto the tube, and reversing it lowers the fabric to close the blind. The bottom of the roller blind can have a straight hem bar, or optionally, a bead or water-drop style. The chain is endless, and the fabric’s descent can be adjusted to pass in front of or behind the tube, preventing contact with door handles. A plastic handle is attached to the end of the endless chain for smoother operation. Plastic plugs on both ends of the tube add an aesthetic finish. At the bottom, the fabric can have various cut patterns, completed with optional water-drop, bead, or metal rods.

Spring-Loaded Roller Blind Components

Spring-loaded blinds wrap the fabric around a 32mm aluminum tube. Spring assemblies and plugs are mounted on both ends of the tube. The spring is tensioned and attached to the mounting strip. Using the mounting strip, the blind is attached to the wall or ceiling with brackets. The blind can be pulled up with the cord and slowly released to lock at the desired height. To raise the blind, pull slightly on the cord and release without interruption. The spring mechanism lifts the blind to the top. If the spring softens over time, it can be tightened.

Motorized Roller Blind Components

Motorized blinds wrap fabric around a 45mm aluminum tube. A tubular motor is mounted on the right or left side of the tube, with a plug on the other side. Once the electrical connection is made, the blind operates up and down using a multi-channel remote. After installation, upper and lower limit settings are adjusted, fixing the top and bottom positions of the motorized blind.

Measuring for Roller Blinds

When measuring for a window or door-mounted blind, allow 10cm beyond the frame on both sides for width (A). For height (B), add 20cm for wrapping allowance. Ensure the installation location avoids interference with window or door handles.

For inside-frame measurements, consider the flatness of the side walls and measure at the narrowest point for smooth operation. Deduct 0.5cm from both sides of the width (A) when placing your order. Pay attention to the direction of window and door openings to ensure proper clearance.

For ceiling-mounted installations, consider potential interference with doors or windows. If clearance is limited, mount the blind above the frame. If door or window handles obstruct the blind, you can use the endless chain to reverse the roll to avoid conflicts.

Installation Tips

Ensure the roller blind is level during installation; misalignment can cause uneven rolling. Attach the mechanized head assembly to the installed brackets as shown, then insert the opposite spring plug into the other bracket. For side-by-side installations, use a connecting bracket to minimize the gap between two blinds.
