The sunscreen fabric is a high-performance technical textile that blocks about 95% of the sun’s UV (ultraviolet) and IR (infrared) rays. IR rays cause heat buildup, while UV rays are responsible for fading colors. Sunscreen roller blinds let natural light in while significantly reducing glare—similar to the effect of wearing sunglasses.

The fabric has an open weave that ensures privacy while still allowing you to enjoy the view. They are ideal for south-facing rooms and offices where protection from sunlight is required. Sunscreen blinds are often used in museums, galleries, and high-rise glass buildings to protect items from sunlight. They are also perfect for offices and home workspaces as they help reduce glare on computer screens.

Our sunscreen blinds are handcrafted and come with chain controls available in chrome, gold, nickel, or white. A fabric-covered aluminum bottom rail keeps the blind taut. The mechanism allows you to stop the blind at any desired height. For child safety, each blind is supplied with a chain safety clip.
