General Features of Fabric Vertical Blinds
The slats, made of blackout polyester (blackout), cotton, transparent, textured, aluminum-foil laminated and stain-resistant fabrics in 89 mm and 127 mm widths, rotate 180º around their own axis via a mechanical control chain to control light. In addition, depending on the installation site, they can be gathered to the right, to the left, from the center to both sides, or from the edges toward the center by a pull cord, creating an aesthetic and ergonomic environment for you. The overall appearance of the pink fabric vertical blind is as shown in Figure 1.

The Fabric Vertical Blind top casing is manufactured from aluminum profile in 6-meter lengths and cut to the required measurements during production. As shown in Figure 2, the wagon that carries the slats moves along the rails inside the aluminum casing. Wagons are linked by connectors (spacer) that allow extension equal to the width of the slats. A star-shaped aluminum tilt rod passes through the center of the wagons. The tilt rod is rotated by the chain, allowing the slats to rotate 180° around their own axis. The cords that pass through the wagons and make a full loop allow the blind to open and close. |

Vertical Blind Stacking Direction
Choose the control type according to where the vertical blind will be installed. When choosing, pay attention to the opening directions of doors and windows.

| In single-draw vertical blind mechanisms, you can set the control side (chain and cord) to the right or left during installation. For sloped and motorized models, it must be set during production. | You determine the stacking side (right or left) during installation. Here you also decide whether the stack will be on the control side or the opposite side. The aim is ease of use. | You determine the stacking side (right or left) during installation. Here you also decide whether the stack will be on the control side or the opposite side. The aim is ease of use. | You determine the stacking during installation. In this option, the slats open from the center to both sides. The purpose of center split on large blinds is to prevent excessive piling of slats, improve aesthetics, and increase durability. | You determine the stacking during installation. Here, stacking is from both edges toward the center. This helps avoid issues caused by opening windows or doors. |
Height of the Control System (Chain and Cord)
If we denote the blind height as H and the control system height as Hc: when H is less than 220 cm, make Hc 10 cm shorter than the blind height. If H is greater than 221 cm, make Hc 100 cm shorter than the blind height.

Measuring for Vertical Blinds
![]() |
![]() |
| Width (w1, w2) and height (H1 and H2) should be taken from two different points. The dimensions to use (g and h) are the smallest in both cases. When measuring inside reveal, subtract 1 cm from the width for installation clearance and 2 cm from the height to avoid rubbing against the floor and wall. | When measuring for wall or ceiling mount, leave at least 15 cm on each side for stack allowance. Determine the control side considering the opening direction and handles of the window or door. |

| When measuring outside for mitered corners, ensure the top casings align perfectly with each other. | When measuring for inside corners, calculate the widths of the blinds and place the order accordingly. |
Vertical Blind Production Models
1) SLOPED CASING MODEL
![]() |
When ordering a sloped vertical blind from Maviperde, consider the information below and be sure to send a detailed drawing with your order. A slope up to a maximum of 550 can be applied. Stacking is only toward the higher side. A wall-mount bracket can be supplied so the vertical blind can rest at the center. Maximum width cannot exceed 4 m. |

2) SLOPED SLAT MODEL

|
| The slope can be at the bottom rather than in the casing. In such cases, the slats can stack on the side where the slats are longer. | w: Maximum blind width
h1: Maximum blind height h2: Minimum blind height |
3) STEPPED SLOPED SLAT MODEL In this system applied to stepped areas, the casing is mounted parallel to the ceiling or wall, while the slats are cut at an angle according to the step measurements. In this system, stacking is toward the side with the longer slats.

h1, h2, h3: Step width b1, b2, b3: Step height Tolerance (t) between the blind and the step is 0.72 mm. |
4) SLOPED CASING & STEPPED SLOPED SLAT MODEL
In this system, the casing is sloped and the slat bottoms must be adapted to the staircase. This system does not allow the blind to open; you can only tilt left/right for light control.

5) MULTI-COLOR SLAT MODEL
You can create different combinations by using slats in various colors.
w1, w2, w3… indicate the width of each color. During production, the color-to-color transition tolerance is 75 mm.

6) TOL SLAT MODEL
This type of vertical blind is used on ‘topal’ doors and windows.

7) MOTORIZED VERTICAL BLIND MODEL
The motorized vertical blind allows both tilting and stacking of the slats.

MOTOR POSITION
The motor can be mounted on the vertical blind in two ways.
| a- Horizontal motor position (Fig. 1) | b- Vertical motor position (Fig. 2) |
| The motor can be mounted horizontally on top of the vertical blind casing. In this configuration, the blind can be fixed to both wall and ceiling. | The motor can be mounted vertically on top of the blind casing. In this configuration, the blind can only be fixed to the wall. |
