General Features of Zebra Roller Blinds
Zebra blinds are a type of mechanism-operated blind that has recently become a rising trend. They take their name from the arrangement of thin and dense woven fabric in stripes. With a dual-layer fabric—one fixed and the other movable—the mechanism operates by shifting layers to open and close the view. With their delicate fabric, zebra blinds add an elegant and refined look to any space. Combining both sheer and roller blind functions, zebra blinds are an essential part of window decoration that can be used alone in all kinds of interiors. Offered in a wide variety of colors, these fabrics require minimal cleaning and maintenance and can be operated with a chain mechanism, or optionally with button control and remote-controlled motorized systems.
Choosing the Color of Zebra Roller Blinds
Brown is the color of soil, humanity’s raw material. It symbolizes fertility and productivity. Brown accelerates metabolism, increases sensitivity, and strengthens the nerves. Since it creates balance among people and conveys the trust and comfort of the earth, it is recommended for offices where people work collectively.
Chain-Operated Roller Blind Parts
Roller blinds can be manufactured as chain-operated, spring-operated, semi-automatic, or motorized, depending on preference. In chain-operated blinds, the fabric is generally wrapped around a 32 mm aluminum tube. A roller blind head mechanism is mounted on both ends of the tube. When the chain is pulled, the fabric rolls around the tube; when pulled in the opposite direction, the fabric unrolls, lowering the blind. The bottom of the roller blind may feature a plain hem bar or optionally be finished with trims such as beads or crystals. The chain is endless, and the rolling direction can be adjusted to descend in front of or behind the tube, preventing interference with door handles. A plastic handle is added to the chain end for a neat appearance. The bottom bar ends are covered with plastic caps for aesthetics. Various decorative cut designs may be applied at the bottom, finished with trims, beads, or metal rods upon request.

Spring-Operated Roller Blind Parts
In spring-operated blinds, fabric is wrapped around a 32 mm aluminum tube. A spring mechanism and caps are mounted at both ends of the tube. The spring is pre-tensioned and attached to the mounting rail, which is then installed on the wall or ceiling using roller blind brackets. The blind is pulled open with a cord, and when released slowly, the spring locks the blind at the desired height. To open the blind, pull slightly downward and release without pause, allowing the spring to roll the fabric up. If the spring weakens, it can be re-tensioned.

Motorized Roller Blind Parts
In motorized roller blinds, fabric is wrapped around a 45 mm aluminum tube. A tubular motor is mounted on one side, with a cap on the opposite side. After electrical connections are completed, the blind is operated up and down using a multi-channel remote control. Once installed, top and bottom stop limits are set, ensuring consistent operation.

Measuring Roller Blinds
When measuring roller blinds for installation above a window or door, extend 10 cm beyond the frame (A) on each side. For height (B), add 20 cm to allow fabric roll space.

| When viewed from above, determine the installation spot carefully to avoid contact with window or door handles. | For inside-frame measurements, ensure wall straightness and take the narrowest point. Deduct 0.5 cm from both sides when ordering. | From a side view, consider door and window handles carefully to avoid interference. Limited space may prevent full opening. | Below are roller blind thicknesses and widths. Review carefully before placing an online order. |

| For ceiling installation, consider that doors or windows may not open properly. | If opening is difficult, you may install above the frame instead. | If handles obstruct, reverse rolling with the endless chain can solve the issue. | Roller Blind Fabric Rolling Direction |
Roller Blind Installation
When installing roller blinds, ensure proper leveling. If the fabric rolls to one side, it is due to improper leveling.
