General Features of Zebra Roller Blinds
Zebra blinds are a type of mechanism-operated blind that has recently become a popular trend. They are named after the striped arrangement of thin and thick woven fabric. With dual-layer fabric—one fixed and the other movable—the mechanism works on the open-close principle by shifting layers. Zebra blinds, with their delicate fabric, add elegance and refinement to any space. Combining the functions of both sheer and roller blinds, zebra blinds are an essential part of window decoration and can be used on their own in all interiors. With a wide range of colors, the fabrics require minimal maintenance and cleaning. They can be applied with chain mechanisms or, upon request, button control and remote-controlled motorized systems.
Choosing the Color of Zebra Roller Blinds
Brown is the color of earth, humanity’s raw material. It symbolizes fertility and productivity. Brown accelerates metabolism, increases sensitivity, and strengthens nerves. As it brings balance to people in the environment and conveys a sense of security and comfort rooted in the soil, it is recommended for offices where people work collectively.
Chain-Operated Roller Blind Parts
Roller blinds can be manufactured as chain-operated, spring-operated, semi-automatic, or motorized, according to preference. In chain-operated roller blinds, the fabric is usually wrapped around a 32 mm aluminum tube. A roller blind head mechanism is attached to both ends of the tube. When the chain is pulled, the fabric rolls onto the tube; when pulled in the opposite direction, the fabric lowers and closes the blind. The bottom may feature a plain hem bar or be finished with trims like beads or crystals. The chain is endless and can be adjusted so the fabric descends in front of or behind the tube, preventing it from hitting door handles. A plastic grip is attached to the chain for neatness. Both ends of the hem bar are capped with plastic for aesthetics. The lower edge can be customized with decorative cuts and finished with trims, beads, or metal rods as desired.

Spring-Operated Roller Blind Parts
In spring-operated blinds, the fabric is wrapped around a 32 mm aluminum tube. A spring mechanism and caps are mounted at both ends. The spring is pre-tensioned and attached to the mounting rail, which is then fixed to the wall or ceiling with roller blind brackets. The blind is opened by pulling the cord, and when released slowly, the spring locks the fabric at the desired height. To open, pull slightly downward and release without pause, allowing the spring to roll the fabric up. The blind can be stopped at any height. If the spring weakens, it can be re-tensioned.

Motorized Roller Blind Parts
In motorized roller blinds, the fabric is wrapped around a 45 mm aluminum tube. A tubular motor is attached to one side, and a cap to the other. Once the electrical connection is completed, the blind is controlled up and down with a multi-channel remote. After installation, top and bottom stop limits are set to ensure precise operation.

Measuring for Roller Blinds
When measuring for roller blinds to be installed above a window or door, extend 10 cm beyond the frame (A) on each side. For height (B), add 20 cm to allow for fabric roll.

| When viewed from above, carefully determine the installation spot to avoid contact with window or door handles. | For inside-frame measurements, ensure walls are straight and take the narrowest measurement. Deduct 0.5 cm from both sides when ordering. | From a side view, consider door and window handles carefully. Insufficient clearance may prevent opening. | Below are roller blind thicknesses and widths. Review carefully before ordering online. |

Roller Blind Installation
When installing roller blinds, ensure proper leveling. If the fabric rolls to one side, it is caused by improper leveling during installation.
