The aluminum Venetian blind is made from 16 mm or 25 mm wide aluminum slats, 23 microns thick, coated with electrostatic powder paint, and shaped using a fully automatic Venetian blind machine. To ensure the slats hang evenly, a steel bottom rail, also powder-coated, is attached. The top casing contains a control mechanism called a “duck” to adjust the blind’s position. A polycarbonate tilt rod, sized according to the blind’s height, is attached to the control mechanism, allowing you to direct the slats and control light. Additionally, a locking mechanism is installed next to the control to raise and lower the blind. The cords passing through this mechanism control the blind’s up and down movement. When deciding the control direction, place yourself in front of the blind to determine whether the control and lock are on the right or left side, as the tilt rod and cords will remain exposed when the blind is raised, potentially interfering with windows or doors.
