Depending on customer preference, non-pleated, sparse pleats, medium pleats, or dense pleats can be selected.

• Non-Pleated Sheer Curtain (Flat)
  As the name suggests, non-pleated sheers are flat. They do not have pleats and can be used as panels. Non-pleated models are generally preferred for curtains and blackout linings.

This way, when sheer is hung over them, no asymmetrical look appears. If you plan to use sheers as blackout lining or as panels, make sure to specify them as non-pleated.

• 1×2 Pleats (Sparse Pleat)
  The first pleat density ratio is 1×2, which falls under the sparse pleat category. It can sometimes be used as blackout lining or as a panel. However, it is commonly preferred in bedrooms or living rooms with a minimalist style. If you don’t like dense pleats but still want some pleating, then 1×2 pleated sheers are the right option.

• 1×2.5 Pleats (Medium Pleat)
  The standard pleat ratio, 1×2.5, is the most popular option. Known as medium pleat, this style of sheer curtains can be used in living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, or children’s rooms. Since it has a moderate pleat density, it easily adapts to any home textile environment. If you are undecided, 1×2.5 pleated sheers are a safe choice.

• 1×3 Pleats (Dense Pleat)
  The last pleat ratio is the dense pleat, known as 1×3. These sheer curtains have very dense pleats with no gaps in between. If you like a more gathered look, you should specify 1×3 pleats in your custom orders. After the medium pleat, this is the second most preferred option.
